To replace him, two Dream Factory assistants - that's you and another player - will face off in a duel where you will have to repair machines and complete projects as quickly as possible in order to score 20 points or more first. Each turn, you can choose between two actions: Play a machine card from your hand to the Bric-à-brac to gain charcoal, produce a resource or apply the machine's effect. Repair a machine in the Bric-a-brac to score points and place that machine in your workshop.
Each resource listed in the machine production area of your workshop reduces the number of resources needed to repair subsequent machines. In addition, repairing a machine can help you complete specific projects and earn points.
