The Rune Saga is an epic competition: collect the most rune stones and win the coveted title of Clan Chief. Players will progress through each chapter of the North Sea Saga (Carpenters, Looters and Explorers). Each chapter offers 3 unique rune stones to collect. These are awarded to the first player to achieve a particular goal. Earning these Rune Stones also gives players advantages in subsequent chapters. Each of these rune stones also has 1 or 2 inscriptions (shield, horn and hammer). The first player to win 3 inscriptions of 1 type gets an extra rune stone for their efforts.
Players also earn 2 Runic Stones for winning each chapter or 1 Runic Stone for coming second. However, Rune Stones collected in this way do not grant any advantages or entries in the game. Once all 3 chapters have been played, the player with the most Rune Stones is the overall winner and takes the title of Clan Chief!
