The Galactic Republic and Rebel Alliance can now make use of the Wookies' formidable skills. The unit expansion gives you six Wookiee miniatures that can be assembled and used in a variety of ways, including as a short-range unit carrying ryyk blades and Kashyyk pistols, or as a Wookiee sniper unit firing X1 rifles. Whichever way you assemble your miniatures, four upgrade cards invite you to line up these units for both Republic and Rebel factions.
In addition, a Wookie leader figure can enter the fight as a Republic commander and a fifth unit card and three command cards allow him to further influence strategy. Finally, eight upgrade cards invite you to customise your units with Wookiees carrying a range of weapons.
