The devastating force of the Xitle eruption completely buried and destroyed Cuicuilco and Copilco, two important civic and religious cities. The survivors dispersed throughout Mesoamerica, many settling in and around Teotihuacan. The rapid influx of population led to accelerated growth in Teotihuacan and led to the adoption of new technologies, with Teotihuacan establishing itself as a seat of power in the region. Teotihuacan: City of the Gods - Shadow of the Xitle adds ten new technologies and ten new starting tiles to the game.
The new technologies enhance advanced strategies and add incredible variety to the game experience by doubling the number of possible technologies. When setting up, you choose six technologies at random as usual, ensuring that no two games are alike! New starting tiles provide new starting options for you to experiment with, deepening your overall game experience! All content is compatible with the solitaire game and the first expansion, Teotihuacan: City of the Gods - Preclassic Age.
