Detailed miniatures, immersive storytelling and rich mythology await you in Forest of Radgost, a cooperative tabletop game that brings Slavic mythology to life. When a boy and girl disappear from their village somewhere in 9th century Europe, the village druid sends a search party to find the children and escort them to safety. As a member of this search party, you will have to enter the sacred forest and cross the border between the realm of humans and that of the Slavic deity Radgost. The forest is inhabited by strange beings such as the Psoglav, Lesnik or Todorci, who do not appreciate human intruders. You will have to use all your skills, wisdom and instincts to survive the many encounters with these strange creatures. Along the way you will develop your character, collect items, gain skills, split up and join the other members of the search party and perhaps discover the secret reason why the druid chose you to join the search party.
Forest of Radgost is a role-playing game in which each player controls a character with a well-defined story, motivation and skills. Players navigate the network of interconnected forest paths using a pair of dice that determine the distance and direction of their movement, evoking the feeling of being lost in the woods, with creatures lurking at every junction. With each encounter, players must decide whether to run, hide, flee or communicate, without knowing which creature they will face. Depending on their choices, encounters are resolved according to the many scenarios provided in the accompanying encounter book. Nine card decks add an open-world dimension, allowing players to explore the rich game world based on four years of research into Slavic mythology. The many scenarios, card details and cards interact to weave a unique scenario, ensuring that players never experience the same adventure twice.
