The influence of House Greyjoy extends like the tentacles of the kraken that adorns their banners. That is why they recruit their own Ironborn Reavers, teaching them the art of archery and turning them into Ironborn Archers. These archers are equipped with moderate armour, and their previous melee training means that they are not defenceless if enemies close in on their position.
The Ironborn Archers unit box for The Iron Throne: The Miniatures Game gives players of House Greyjoy a ranged unit to support their other troops. They excel at dealing with enemies from the flanks, bombarding them with arrows. When they destroy enemies, it is their allies who benefit in more ways than one, as they can pick up the loot left behind by defeated enemies.
