Dothraki Riders are typically used as scouting forces, using their superior horsemanship to spy on the enemy and determine the best way for the main army to attack. But once the battle has begun, a whole new facet of the unit becomes apparent: they are also outstanding archers. Archers are usually slower units in an army. This is obviously not the case when your archer is also a master horseman.
The Iron Throne: The Miniatures Game - Dothraki Riders unit box gives players of House Targaryen a fast ranged force for their army. These lightly armoured mounted troops make full use of their horses before and after raining arrows on their opponents. With their great speed, Dothraki Riders can reach and damage enemies normally considered safe in the rear lines of an army. Enemy commanders will find it difficult to stop these highly mobile troops.
