Lancers of the Shadow Tower protect the flanks of the Wall from attack. Everyone in Westeros knows about the Wall and the vigorous Night's Watch that guards it. What is less well known is what lies on the flanks of the massive edifice. To the west, there is the Tower of Shadow. Here, the brothers in black are specialised in the use of spears, making them masters in defending against flanking manoeuvres and rapid enemy attacks.
The Shadow Tower Spearmen unit box for The Iron Throne: The Miniatures Game gives Night's Watch players a new melee unit with which to protect their flanks. These troops train tirelessly with their long spears, making them capable of inflicting significant damage on anyone foolish enough to try and charge them. They also know that their duty is never to break and run, remaining unyielding in the face of any enemy.
