Their presence in battle signifies the blessing of the Drowned God, who encourages the men to fight beyond their wounds and strike all the harder against their enemies. Although few in number, the faith of the Drowned Men is such that they can survive mortal blows. That said, as strong as their faith is, a wise commander should not place these fanatics at the forefront. Working with enveloping units or in direct support of the line ensures that the blessings of the Drowned God are shared equally among his people.
