In the near future, the mega-corporations of the military-industrial complex have invested trillions in developing cybernetically enhanced clone soldiers for off-world exploration. In order to build strong teams for future missions - and more importantly, to win lucrative government contracts - they have created special training islands. On these islands, they are able to simulate all the deadly conditions their soldiers may face on distant planets.
To finance these expensive programmes and the military-grade innovations built into their test subjects, the weapons manufacturers have teamed up with media moguls to create and promote live television competitions from the islands' training grounds. The result is Reload, the biggest TV show on the planet, where the most charismatic and capable test subjects compete in front of millions of viewers eager for fame for themselves and fortune for their creators.
In Reload, you can engage in this battle royale experience with an innovative action dice system that offers fast-paced gameplay and the freedom to explore the island as you fight for glory.

Reload was funded on the Crowdfunding Kickstarter (See the campaign) platform on the Feb 18, 2021, the campaign lasted 23 days. 1,501 people helped funded the game, whose the amount requested was $20,000.00. Thanks to these 1,501 people the game could be funded up to $98,966.00, ~494.83%.
