The Aztecs are under attack by alien invaders! Your objective is to collect points by gathering the inhabitants of your city and trying to protect them from flying saucer attacks. In each round, starting with the first player, you will choose a pack of cards from among 8 face-down cards and then simultaneously choose a card to play, paying attention to the time of day indicated on it. Whoever is the earliest to play the card will be the first player in the next round!
There are several families of cards: Warriors, High Society, Villagers, Agency and Codex. Each has its own scoring system or special effect. Some allow you to score points, some allow you to trigger flying saucer attacks, others protect your inhabitants. The game ends when a certain number of decks are empty or a certain number of flying saucers have been played. You then count your points and (guess what?) the person with the highest score wins the game.
