Like all the other planets in the galaxy, the government of the planet Utapau has built up a fleet of more than impressive fighters. Indeed, being victim of an arms embargo organised by the Trade Federation, the Utais and the Pau'ans, two intelligent species of the planet, decided to build their defence vessels with the means at their disposal. The technology of the P-38 is therefore entirely Utapaun. The ship, seen from the outside, looks like a heavy cuckoo clock, barely powerful enough to move itself. But it is not. Even though its two side wings are not very aerodynamic, that is where its two very powerful matter annihilation engines are located. The entire wing is filled with fuel injection systems and the engine's combustion chamber. Between them, these engines can take the ship to over 60,000km/h in conventional space at full speed.
Used by General Grievous' formidable MagnaGuards, the Rogue-class Starfighter is known for its powerful engines and devastating laser cannons, making it a valuable asset to any Separatist fleet. However, it is also a ship used by bounty hunters, including the intimidating Cad Bane, whose customised Xanadu Blood is equipped with a camouflage device and added main weapons that unleash devastating barrages on anyone in its sights.
