360 animals on large cards await Fauna players. In each round, an animal appears with its name and picture. The 2 to 6 players try to guess the weight, length, height, tail length and - most importantly - the areas where the animal lives on Earth. The bird that gets up early gets the worm: an area on the large map or an area on the scales already occupied by a player token cannot be chosen a second time. When no player wants to place another token, the round ends and the points are counted.
Chips placed on the correct spaces score points for the corresponding player, as do chips in the direct vicinity of the correct spaces. Chips that do not score are temporarily removed from the game - the risk must be carefully assessed. Next round - next animal - change of starting player. The first player to reach a certain total score wins (normally after 8-12 animals).
