You are an ancient folk character before your story was told. Along with other characters, you attend the prestigious Legend Academy to gain the skills and wisdom necessary to take your place in history. Legend Academy is a European-style competitive game that combines deck-building, worker placement and dungeon exploration. Players build a deck of skill cards at the Academy, then set out on famous quests from ancient tales (The Jungle Book, Alice in Wonderland, Gulliver's Travels, etc.).
During an adventure, players play cards from their hand to move around the map and accomplish scenario-specific objectives, find treasure, defeat enemies and try to impress the teacher. Players earn points by learning new skills, completing objectives and finding treasure. The player with the most points at the end becomes the valedictorian and wins the game.
