In Stories 100 Ends, players take turns telling a constantly evolving story, as is the case in oral traditions. The patterns on the cards provide visual cues to the people, objects and places that are central to the action, things to be remembered in the correct order, with cards disappearing and new ones being added each turn. Those who, as narrator, manage to present their version of the story without error will be rewarded accordingly. In Stories 100 Ends: Crime, players take on the role of lawyers who, despite confusing descriptions and unclear, shifting evidence, must give the most convincing explanation of the crime committed.
