In the real-time party game Topic_, whoever has the fewest cards in front of them at the end of the game wins. To begin, shuffle the appropriate number of cards according to the number of players, then place the deck face down in the middle of the table. Reveal a card so that everyone can see the themes represented on that card, as well as the category and card number on the top of the deck. The category indicates the theme to be used in this round. All players compete to find a word that matches the chosen theme and has as many syllables as the number on the deck. When all but one of the players have said a suitable word, the remaining player takes the card on the table and a new round begins.
