Magic Fold is a racing game designed by Bruno Cathala and Yohan Goh. To advance, each player must fold his or her cloth mat to make magical combinations of various symbols. Speed and reflection are required to fold quickly and well before other players complete the formula before you. Luckily, the geniuses can help you and serve as a joker to replace any symbol. Aim for shortcuts on the course, but watch out for cobras so you don't get hurt. Players fold their flying carpet simultaneously to reproduce the patterns of one of the 4 Challenge cards of their choice.
As soon as a player has finished folding their Flying Mat, they take the corresponding Challenge card and the associated Initiative token and turn the hourglass over. Once the hourglass time has elapsed, each player moves according to the number of Clouds that appear on their Challenge card and Initiative Chit. The first player to reach the Flying Palace wins the game.
