In Citadelles, your goal is to build a prestigious city before your opponents can build their own. To develop your city and new neighborhoods, you will of course need gold, but also the support of local notables, king, alderman, cardinal, patrician or archivist, and sometimes also the lie of the city, thief, spy , assassin or witch.
