Timeline: Star Wars

Arrange the scenes from Star Wars Episodes I, II and III in chronological order. Will Obiwan Kenobi face Darth Mail before or after Anakin disables the Droid army? With Timeline, find the answer to this question and hundreds of others by confronting your knowledge or intuition with the Star Wars trilogy. At the beginning of the game, players all receive the same number of cards representing scenes from one of the three movies in the second trilogy (The Phantom Menace, The Attack of the Clones, The Revenge of the Sith). On the back of each card is its sequence designator.

To begin, a card is randomly drawn from the cards not dealt to the players. It is placed in the center of the table, face up, and forms the starting point of a timeline that will be gradually completed by the players. The first player then chooses one of his cards. If he thinks that the scene of his card occurs before that of the initial card, he places his card to the left of the initial card. If he thinks his scene takes place afterwards, he places his card to the right of the initial card. The player's card is then turned over, face up. If he is right, it stays in place. If not, his card is discarded and he must draw another one to replace it.

The game continues in a clockwise direction. The more cards he places, the harder it is to place new ones without making a mistake! The first player to run out of cards wins.
