But the world of Munchkin is also dark and sad. It is a place where these same munchkins are too often betrayed by their mates, spotted by the calamity ducks and served to dine with dragons. Heroes dive too deep, slide into chasms and lose their wealth. All this before you die.
Be Victim of a Depressing Death.
The clear plastic cards illustrate the munchkins and detail their misadventures. When stacked, they reveal or hide the effects of the cards they cover. The total visible through represents your score. To win the game, you must guide your group through terrible trials and painful torments until they perish - inevitably - in the greatest pain.
