In Lost Expedition, you lead a team of three explorers in the footsteps of Percy Fawcett on his way to El Dorado. To win the game, pass all the traps and discover the lost city with one of these three explorers alive! Help your team reach El Dorado despite the many obstacles that await you! In The Lost Expedition, you can play solo, cooperatively or competitively. But the game mechanics remain the same in all three cases. The players have to go through 7 to 9 Path cards (depending on the difficulty) to reach the lost city. The 3 members of the expedition have life points and a unique skill that they can use during the game, as well as ammunition and food common to the whole expedition. Players lay down 6 Adventure cards representing their progress for the half day. In the morning the cards are resolved in ascending order and in the afternoon they will be resolved in the order they are laid down.
The Adventure cards will allow you to advance on the Path cards, to collect items or skills. Traps or obstacles will slow you down, causing you to lose items or skills. You can also jump or reverse path cards. Will you find the lost city or disappear into the jungle forever?
