You play adventurers taking part in the gold rush. Acquire the best seams at auctions and then, with luck on the dice, you'll find gold! It's the Gold Rush ! Win the auctions in order to get the best concessions.
The first player starts the bidding. He can pass or bet one or more nuggets. Then, in a clockwise direction, each player can either pass or outbid. The highest bidder pays the full price to his right-hand neighbour, who keeps half of it, rounded up if necessary, and passes the rest to his right-hand neighbour, who again keeps half of what he has received, rounded up, and passes the rest to his right-hand neighbour.
The highest bidder chooses one of the cards on sale, then discards a card, then it is the turn of the player to the left of the highest bidder to choose a card, and so on in a clockwise direction until all players have taken a card. The winner of the auction rolls the two dice to determine in which mines gold has been found.The first player to have two concessions in the same city becomes the Mayor. From now on, each time a player takes a Concession from the cards on sale in a city where another player is the Mayor, he or she must pay the Mayor. At the end of the game players count their points, the player with the most points wins the game.
