In Bangkok, players take on the role of traders building their floating market. It's up to you to negotiate in the harbour to choose the most advantageous barges and goods and place them thoughtfully in your market. The player with the most profitable trade wins! Deal 3 barge cards to each player. Place 3 rows of 3 barge cards in the centre, called Central Market. Hand out a secret objective to each player. During their turn, players must: Exchange cards from their hand with cards from the Central Market. Add cards to their own Floating Market. Spice cards add value to your Market.

There are four ways to add value to your Market. The round ends when a player has completed their Market with a total of nine cards. The player with the most points wins the round.
