In Picnic Blitz, you want to bring ants to the picnic and eat enough food to claim your place at the top of the anthill. The game is played on a small game board, with each player taking six colored ants and four queen chips placed on the side. The game board has six tracks of 6 to 10 squares of 2 to 4 points, with a food space at the end of each track.
During a round, a player rolls six dice, then can roll a number of dice equal to his total number of active ants on the board. After raising, if the player has rolled a sequence of at least four dice, he may attack another player's ants by pushing them back onto the track. Longer straight lines are synonymous with additional attacks, and two attacks are necessary to dislodge an ant in valuable food spaces.
After attacking, the player chooses all the dice of a value and moves an ant forward on the track by that number equal to the number of dice chosen. Land on another ant, and it's trapped under you. Land on the food court, and you have earned the points listed there - points you can lose if someone attacks you later.
