In Dice Hospital: Emergency Services, each player tries to treat as many patients as possible in his or her hospital, by filling his or her wards, admitting additional or critical patients, choosing when and where to place nurses and using screens to isolate patients, and satisfying the demands of the three specialists. On each turn, the active player turns over an ambulance card revealing three actions, which are linked to the dice that are also rolled and assigned their respective colours on the card.
Once the active player has chosen their action, the other players choose any unselected action and the associated die to perform their own action. At the end of the round, the player to the left of the active player becomes the new active player. The game ends when the ambulance pack is exhausted. The player with the most points wins. Dice Hospital: Emergency Services is a stand-alone game set in the Dice Hospital universe.
