Les Chants de Loss is a Da Vinci-punk planet- fantasy role-playing game from the saga of eponymous novels written by Axelle "Psychée" Bouet. Loss is a role-playing game of heroic adventures, featuring action, intrigue and moral dilemmas. Its setting is an alien world where deadly creatures, mysterious powers, forgotten secrets and ancient civilisations rub shoulders with Renaissance science, the technological marvels of geniuses and engineers, the exploits of levitating ships, impulse weapons and early electrical machines, and the fright of early experiments on life. The player-characters are those of the lossyans who fear neither the dangers of the sea, nor the ghosts of the night, nor the Singing Demons of Loss.
Adventurers, travellers, explorers, mercenaries, pirates, reprobates, heretics, progressives, libertarians, scientists, engineers, fugitives and 21st century earthlings lost on this distant planet, they all have three things in common: their courage surpasses superstitious fear of the unknown, they have decided by choice or necessity to leave the safety of a home and, whether they seek it or it comes to them without having asked for it, they attract the glory that writes their Legend.
