French - A chaque tour, le joueur dont c'est le tour place son pion marchand à l'emplacement que les dés lui ont dicté (sauf s'il a joué une tuile "roue" auquel cas il choisi son point de départ). Puis il va déplacer son marchand sur le plateau comme il souhaite, parfois en prenant compte des offres des autres joueurs pour déplacer le pion à l'endroit qu'ils désirent.
