Rediscover the world of the Adventurers of Rail Europe in a new light with this expansion that offers new Destination maps and variants, as well as new gameplay elements: Warehouses and Depots! The Adventurers of the Rail: Europe 1912 expansion contains 101 Destination Cards: the original 46 cards, plus 55 new ones that allow you to play with 3 variants on the Europe board: Europe - Expanded Version, which mixes the original 46 Destination Cards with 19 new ones; Big Cities Europe, which is played with Destination Cards leading to only nine major cities in Europe; and Mega Game Europe, played with all Destination Cards (old + new).
The expansion also introduces the new Warehouses & Depots rule, two gameplay elements that renew the strategies and tactics developed to date, and are compatible with all versions of Adventurers of Rail! At the beginning of the game, each player places a Deposit on the city of his choice. Later, when a player chooses to draw new Wagon cards, he must first draw one and place it in the Warehouse of his choice (each player has one Warehouse). When a player takes possession of a road that leads to a Warehouse, he can take all the cards that are in the Warehouse of the player who owns the Warehouse! You'll have to place your Warehouses wisely and supply the Warehouses of the different players to win the victory...
The Warehouses and Depots are compatible with any version of the Adventurers of the Rail. The new Destination maps can only be used with the Europe board.
