Who of the cunning Ali or the terrible thieves will come out of the cave of wonders with the most treasures? Ali is an atmospheric game for the whole family that will require you to use your memory, cunning and caution! This game is signed Corentin Lebrat and Antoine Bauza. It is illustrated by Stéphane Poinsot. Ali is played in several rounds. During each round, one of the players plays Ali and the others become the thieves. The objectives are the same, trying to recover as many different treasures as possible, but depending on your role the way you play differs. So if you are a thief, you will be confronted with a memorization process. Indeed Ali will draw treasure cards during the round of treasure cards that he will reveal for a short while before hiding them in his hand. Each time Ali draws a card, the thief whose turn it is, will have to list aloud all the treasures hidden in Ali's hand.

Once the answer is correct, Ali will draw a new card and the next thief will have to list all the treasures in Ali's hand. Obviously, as time goes by, the treasures accumulate and it becomes more and more difficult to memorize them all. If a thief makes a mistake, Ali runs away from the cave with treasures while the thieves remain Baba (at least the thief). As far as Ali's role is concerned, the player faces a "stop or else" mechanism. Indeed, the various treasures he picks are sometimes trapped. There are treasures that are shiny, noisy, and bulky...so they can be easily spotted.

Each time Ali picks and unveils one of these types of treasures, he collects a small "alert" token that shows the type of treasure. If Ali ever gets 3 tokens of the same type or 3 tokens of a different type, he gets captured by the thieves and he's the one who has it in his head. So Ali must weigh the risks: keep on picking to make sure a thief makes a mistake or stop and get out of the cave in time by saying the correct phrase: "Sesame, open up! "In this case, all the players - thieves and Ali - will share the treasures equally. Don't wait any longer and set off for the land of 1001 nights!
