The opus that won 4 awards in 2009 comes back in a fabulous version! We are in 1941. Germany easily defeated Poland, Denmark, Norway and France. In the early hours of June 22nd, more than 3 million German soldiers attack the Soviet forces on a 1600 km front. This is the beginning of Operation Barbarossa. The effect of surprise is total, the Germans sink deep into Soviet territory. The German High Command believes that the Soviet empire will collapse like a house of cards; Stalin has massacred the officers who supervised the army, training and morale of the troops are bad. What's more, the Soviets lost more than 1.75 million men in the first two months of the conflict alone.
The Germans' advance is inexorable, their Panzers are arriving at the gates of Moscow. But winter comes and the freezing cold undermines German resources, strength and morale. The Soviets counterattack, and the balance of the war begins to tip. The Soviet bear has woken up! Conflict of Heroes is a tactical game about World War II that allows you to replicate engagements at the battalion level. You will have to follow the tactics developed by the Germans and Russians to win. The proposed confrontations all have different objectives. Most of them are played in less than 60 minutes and allow two or four players to face each other. The side that takes the objectives will win the game.
