Santa Cruz, a beautiful Eden! How to settle and prosper in three beautiful islands? You'll know when you play Santa Cruz! At the beginning of the game, each player chooses a predefined set of Construction cards from four different decks. The set of cards chosen determines the areas where everyone is allowed to build buildings during the round. Players also receive randomly distributed Evaluation cards.
These cards allow all players to score points based on accumulated resources or buildings. Each turn, a player places a card and performs the corresponding action (either build or start a countdown). Once all the cards are played, a second and final round begins. It is identical to the previous round except for one strategic subtlety: players will be able to choose their hand from all the decks played during the previous round, starting with the player with the lowest score.
It is therefore possible to change hands from one round to the next in order to explore new strategies!
