Space Alert is a cooperative game where players embody the crew of a spacecraft sent through hyperspace to map a dangerous area of the Galaxy. The game is punctuated by the 10-minute audio tracks that you will find on the 2 CDs provided with the game (or with Scenario cards if you do not have a CD player on hand). During these 10 minutes, in real time, the crew will have to defend the spacecraft while the spacecraft is mapping the area. If they succeed, the ship will bring back valuable information. If they fail ... it will be time to train a new crew!
During the game, the players do not clash but cooperate together to take up the challenge offered by the game. The level of difficulty can be set according to the choice of players, perform the most dangerous missions requiring close cooperation.
