The Roman Empire after the death of Julius Caesar... Players are attempting to become consul. To do so, they must conquer regions and recruit powerful characters. On the Objective cards are indicated the number and type of armies to be raised, the Victory Points awarded and the Special Power associated with each region or character.
At the start of the game, each player has three Region/Character/Objective cards. As soon as all the armed spaces of an Objective card are filled, its power is triggered, and the player chooses a new card to conquer.
