Yōkai no mori - The forest of spirits. In the land of the rising sun, deep in a forest, spirits - the yōkai - challenge each other amicably on their favorite playground: their goal is to capture the opposing koropokkuru (an old goblin full of wisdom). Yōkai no mori is a game accessible to young and old alike! Inspired by Shogi - a traditional Japanese game - Yōkai no mori is a game with simple rules, but with a great tactical and strategic wealth. One of its particularities is that the pieces are never definitively eliminated: any captured piece can indeed be put back into play at any time by its new owner.
In Yōkaï no mori, with the help of your kodama, kitsune, tanuki, oni and other kirin, you will be able to discover two games on two different boards; one is a minimalist version with 8 wooden pieces but "devilishly addictive", the other has 16 wooden pieces for more strategic games.
