Maître Renard

Master Fox, the famous wolf, wants to take a holiday away from his estate in Grisbois. But before he leaves, he's going to choose a replacement among the most intrepid thieves in the forest. Prove your worth by completing the missions given to you by the illustrious wolf and by bringing back the biggest loot possible from the neighbouring farm! Players take on the role of clever little fox cubs who do their best to impress the Master Fox on nightly expeditions to neighbouring farms. Each turn, 3 new Mission Cards are revealed to designate the objects and animals to be found. All players then place their fox masks in front of their eyes so that they cannot see anything. All at the same time, and using one hand, they try to identify pigs, dogs, cows, cheeses or even chickens, and to recover those corresponding to their mission.

As soon as a player thinks he has caught all 3 targets, he shouts "STOP" and ends the hunt. Each booty counter collected earns 1 point (materialized by an egg token), but be careful: each mistake makes you lose one! As the rounds progress, the game is spiced up by the addition of Cunning counters: Foxes give you 1 extra point, Snakes allow you to steal a Loot counter from one of your opponents' bags, while the Hammer keeps these vile reptiles away! The first player to collect 10 eggs wins.

Since its release February 2015, Maître Renard has won numerous awards and has been particularly well received by players.
