944, the shadow of Cthulhu hovers over Normandy... The Normandy bocage in this wonderful summer of 1944... The sun is shining, the daisies are in bloom. In the early morning, the machine guns make their romantic tactac sound. Thousands of men will fight and die, brave or coward, hero or simply man... You know the song. However, the course of history is going to change radically... Our dear Hollywood movie heroes thought they were going to take a well-deserved rest. But nay! They're no longer up to the task in the face of this new and horrific threat. Horror is creeping onto the battlefields and we will have to call for help from the sections specialising in the fight against supernatural manifestations.
To my left, the US Army is engaging the Majestics as the last bulwark of Humanity in the face of the ambient madness, led by Carter and Ariane. To my right, the Third Reich tries to take advantage of this to impose a millennial yoke and sends the cult of the Black Sun commanded by Master Horst and his canon. In the middle, a corrupt and humid species, the Profonds, will ally with the Nazi magicians to transform the oozing swamps into a tomb for Americans. Based on the Heroes tactical system from Heroes of Normandy (100% compatible), Shadows over Normandy offers a new gaming experience, moving from historical wargame to adventure wargame. The focus is more on heroes with the addition of Customizations. We have also added spells (new type of recruitment option), Terror and Search management.

Shadows over Normandie was funded on the Crowdfunding Kickstarter (See the campaign) platform on the Jul 25, 2014, the campaign lasted 22 days. 1,608 people helped funded the game, whose the amount requested was £5,000.00. Thanks to these 1,608 people the game could be funded up to £161,183.26, ~3,223.67%.
