Oh Capitaine !

It all started with this bottle abandoned in the sea. A message, a call to which six intrepid adventurers respond. But the adventure begins in a funny way. Following a shipwreck, the six heroes find themselves on an unknown world: the world of Luma. The Nukha, a fantastic sea monster, saved them and brought them back to its treasure-filled lair. The animal is asleep and they will take advantage of it to try to recover the most beautiful finds. But the Captain still has a say. Who will be able to gain his trust, and keep for himself the most beautiful part of the loot? or even become the new Captain?

The Nomads that the adventurers meet at the end of the game buy back the most interesting finds. The goal of the game is to collect the most valuable loot cards and keep as many gold coins as possible in order to be the richest at the end of the game. But beware, the Nukha eggs you have found will make you lose points with the Nomads who respect the Nukha more than anything. A player is designated Captain at the beginning of the game. All the others are explorers. They're going to search the Nukha's lair. There are five possible looters: pistols (which destroy opponents' loot), grapples (which steal an opponent's loot), lanterns (which reveal an opponent's loot), lizards (which steal a gold coin from an opponent) and Nukha eggs (which have no effect).

In turn, an explorer draws a loot card from the Nukha cave and offers it to the Captain without showing it. "Captain, my Captain, I found a grapple! Are you interested? "The Captain can either take the card in exchange for a gold coin. He returns it and applies its effect provided that the map shows what the explorer had told him. Either refuse the map, which then becomes the property of the explorer. In the second case, the explorer must use the effect of the object on an opponent (without revealing the map). And the latter will be able to contest by denouncing a bluff. It is up to the player to know when to bluff in order to keep the best cards for himself. He is forced to lie if the card drawn is a Nukha Egg. It is up to him to be persuasive enough for the captain to buy the loot from him.

The role of Captain is not played by the same person throughout the game. If at the beginning of an explorer's turn, the explorer is richer than the Captain, he can declare a mutiny and take the role of the Captain on his own. This role gives him decision-making power, additional information about the loot and an additional gold coin.

The originality of this game lies in the asymmetrical role of the Captain, and in the two-step bluff: first against the Captain, then against the opponent explorer. The game ends when the Nomad card is drawn. Only players with the majority of Pistols, Grapples and Lizards can sell them for a total of 4 pieces. Lanterns are worth 2 or 3 gold pieces. The Eggs make you lose a piece. The richest one wins.
