Humanity, long confined to travel by land and sea, saw the greatest minds in Eastern Europe give birth to a new technology: aircraft. These steam-powered mastodons roamed freely in the skies, alternating battles and innovations, supporting the expansion of their respective empires. As the years went by, the world came to recognize that no one faction would resolutely gain the upper hand for a long time to come. In the hope of appeasing conflicts, Europe's leaders decided to meet every year to announce a new way of settling factional disputes.
This extension of Scythe adds two new modules that can be played together or separately, regardless of the number of players, with or without the other extensions. These modules offer more strategic options that the player can choose to use or not. We recommend that new players try out the basic Scythe game before upgrading to this extension.
Scythe funded on the Kickstarter platform
Scythe was funded on the Crowdfunding Kickstarter (See the campaign) platform on the Nov 6, 2015, the campaign lasted 23 days. 17,739 people helped funded the game, whose the amount requested was $33,000.00. Thanks to these 17,739 people the game could be funded up to $1,810,294.70, ~5,485.74%.
