Young Diplodocus (Diplos) are fond of the delicious leaves found in the surrounding meadows. To win, your team of Diplos will have to eat more leaves than your opponent's team... unless you choose to call on the fierce T.Rex to eliminate all the opposing Dinos on the prairie! Randomly form a square with the 4 game boards. Place the Diplomats on eggs of their color. Shuffle the Grass tokens and place them, face down, on the 28 free slots.
In Jurassic Snack, the Diplos have only one goal: to eat grass. In your turn, you have two movement actions that you can use freely by moving one or two of your Diplos or one or two T.Rexes. The Diplomats move orthogonally and advance until they are blocked by another Diplo, a T.Rex, the edge of a board or a grass token. When a Diplo encounters a Grass token, it takes its place and immediately applies one of the 6 effects (birth, appearance of the T.Rex, transport of Diplo, etc.). The T.Rexes, which will only appear during the game, have only one objective: to scare away the Diplos. They are blocked by the Herb tokens. The movement rules are the same as for the Diplomats. When a T.Rex meets a Diplo, he takes his place. The Diplo then returns to its owner.
The game ends when all the chips have been eaten. Each player counts the number of sheets indicated on his tokens. The player with the most leaves wins the game. The game also ends if either player has no more Diplo in play. In this case, the opposing player wins the game.
