Confrontation is at the heart of the Bat-verse. Sometimes the Villains become Heroes, and sometimes the Heroes of the Villains, blurring the lines, but the dichotomy is always present. To illustrate this opposition, we've developed a brand new mode that pits two players against each other, each controlling their troops through a command post. The Adventure mode (the one in the basic box) already allows 2-player games, but this Versus mode is dedicated to games with a more pronounced skirmish flavour.
This mode adds an activation reserve and its recovery system (similar in its operation to the reserve and fatigue zones), which will dictate the pace of the game by allowing each player to decide how many tiles he will activate each turn.
