Tapestry is a game of civilization in the tradition of games like À la Gloire d'Odin or Russian Railroads. The game was designed for games of about two hours for up to five players. In Tapestry, players have the daunting task of creating and developing a fictional civilization. From the beginning of its era to a future era, players will have to think about how to make their civilization flourish as effectively as possible. There are four possible paths of development: Science, technology, exploration and war. Other actions are also required to earn points such as increasing your income or building a capital.
Tapestry's game mechanics is based on a system of laying tiles on a board common to all players and laying workers on an individual board. However, the game goes even further, since it also includes a hand management dimension and an exponential system of points to score according to the choices made during the game. Tapestry is a strategic game with a high degree of replayability. The game also includes a single-player game system.
