In Coloma, you are a pioneer who recently traveled west to make your fortune. You prospect for gold and use your resources to recruit workers, find horses and start businesses. You also explore the surrounding rivers and pioneer areas. But beware! You're not alone - you'll need to outwit your competitors to avoid going bankrupt like many of them. Coloma is a scalable strategy game that allows you to take several paths to victory. It offers unique tactics thanks to simultaneous actions and a mechanics of "engines" and resource management.
Buildings on your board allow you to be more efficient, get additional actions, and change the rules to your advantage. With the addition of the Bridge Score Tiles, you can adopt the individual style of play that suits you.
