Downforce: Wild Race, an expansion for Downforce, consists of two new tracks on a double-sided game board, as well as 3D ramps and wild animals to be used on the new tracks: Aloha Sands offers water jumps. Cars can use the ramps if they move fast enough. Using the ramps allows you to overtake other cars and move more efficiently. It is therefore crucial to manage your hand of speed cards to take advantage of them.
Savanna Stretch shows wild animals crossing the track, blocking the way. They move forward after a car has passed them, making the track harder for the leading car to navigate and opening the way for following cars, so it can pay to stand back a little before making your move.
These new tracks add a little more strategy to the game, giving Downforce veterans a whole new gaming experience.
