Twenty years after its Spiel des Jahres, Carcassonne's "Big Box" is getting a makeover! This box is the perfect introduction to the world of the most famous tile laying game. Simply start a game of the Basic Game, leaving aside the various expansions included (11), and from the second game onwards, you can introduce the peasants into the game. In subsequent games, you will adopt Inns & Cathedrals, then Merchants & Builders, and so on. In the end, you'll play the Carcassonne you love, keeping only the expansions you love and leaving out those you're less fond of, or that don't fit in with the others as you like.
The expansions included are: the river, the abbot, Inns & Cathedrals, Merchants & Builders, Ornithopters, Heralds, Ferries, Gold Mines, Mage & Witches, Thieves, and Crop Circles!
Since its release, Carcassonne: Big Box has won numerous awards and has been particularly well received by players.
