Agropolis

From the clucking of chickens to the rumble of tractors, the sounds of a working farm are everywhere. It's up to your team of planners to turn this small farm into a thriving farming community! After developing dream towns in Sprawlopolis, it's now time to set your sights on the rolling countryside, where farms, ranches and roads intermingle; the master plan, as always, seems out of reach. Agropolis is a stand-alone expansion to Sprawlopolis, offering the same variable card and score game in a new setting: city blocks give way to orchards, wheat fields, cattle pens and vineyards.

As before, players draw three objective cards and attempt to place the cards one at a time to create a rural tableau that best meets those objectives. New game features compensate for overpowering point combinations and add additional attributes to certain types of terrain, providing greater depth of play without sacrificing the characteristic elegance of the original game. Agropolis can be played entirely on its own, but it can also be combined with Sprawlopolis using the special rules and objective cards provided in the Combopolis mini-expansion.

Agropolis was funded on the Crowdfunding Kickstarter (See the campaign) platform on the Oct 10, 2020, the campaign lasted 11 days. 6,867 people helped funded the game, whose the amount requested was $2,000.00. Thanks to these 6,867 people the game could be funded up to $193,024.00, ~9,651.20%.
