Jackhammers, banging trucks, roaring engines, the sounds of construction are everywhere. Sprawlopolis is growing and YOU are in charge of it all. The last team of planners didn't make the cut, so the city turned to your team, the best of the best. If anyone can turn this small town into a thriving civic centre, it's you. In Sprawlopolis, 1-4 players work together to build a new city from scratch. With only 18 cards and a variable scoring system, the game is never the same twice. Each turn, players play a card from their hand into the expanding city, trying to score as many points as possible.
Players will have to communicate and plan without revealing their own cards in order to develop large areas in each of the 4 types of areas as efficiently as possible. Beware though, the city hates to pay for road maintenance, so each road will cost you points in the end. When all the cards have been placed, the game ends and players see if they have reached the dynamically generated minimum score for their game. Can you meet the requirements of the officials, work with your fellow planners and build the ultimate urban wonder? Now is the time to find out!

Mégalopolis was funded on the Crowdfunding Kickstarter (See the campaign) platform on the May 26, 2018, the campaign lasted 11 days. 5,538 people helped funded the game, whose the amount requested was $1,000.00. Thanks to these 5,538 people the game could be funded up to $107,749.00, ~10,774.90%.
