Face the Nazi occupation of France in the little war to shake off the yoke of the oppressors and liberate your homeland! Maquis is a solitaire worker placement game with variable objectives and a game duration of approximately twenty minutes. The player places his resistance agents in areas of the city to achieve his objectives - blowing up trains, publishing underground newspapers - but at the same time Militia collaborators and Wehrmacht soldiers patrol the area. Agents who failed to return to their hideout at the end of the day were arrested and never seen again.
