The best fighters from around the world are invited to prove their worth and fight to become the next legendary Guardian. The fights themselves will not be easy: not only will the masters have to fight in duels, but also in 3 or 4 person free-for-all where they will have to keep going until there is only one fighter left standing. In addition, players will also be able to compete in 2-on-2 matches where they will not only have to adapt to their opponent, but also to their temporary partner. Each fighter is unique, both in terms of their techniques and their energy and life reserves.
In turn, players will choose one of the five areas on their personal battle board and use the tokens found there. They will be able to hit their opponents with action tokens, but they will also need to use their effect tokens to control their positions in the battle area, generate energy to trigger powerful special skills and prepare their defence for future rounds. In Martial Art, your goal is to knock out your opponents.
You have two ways to win the fight in the combat zone: You inflict enough damage to your opponent's entire body, leading to a technical knockout. You inflict enough damage to one body part to KO your opponent directly. The last fighter standing wins!
Martial Art funded on the Ulule platform
Martial Art was funded on the Crowdfunding Ulule (See the campaign) platform on the May 31, 2019, the campaign lasted 38 days. 47 people helped funded the game, whose the amount requested was €6,000.00. Thanks to these 47 people the game could be funded up to €2,965.00, ~49.42%.
