As a Silk Road merchant in the centre of the world, your goal is to buy and sell specialised goods as you move from one bustling city to the next in order to become a wealthy merchant. In this game, players must create trade routes connecting two cities by lining up tiles containing route images on the board while using a rough map for clues. After creating trade routes, you must compare them with more accurate maps. If there are specialised goods on the routes you create, you can collect points. However, some goods can also cause you to lose points, so you have to be careful when building routes. In addition, you only have two minutes to create the routes. In this limited time, think of the best possible routes and try to trade efficiently.
The game is played in several rounds. After using the trade cards to choose the destination city and the value of the local goods, the hourglass is turned on and the trade begins. You then refer to your personal specialised goods card while quickly placing road tiles to connect the cities. The fastest merchants and those who have covered the most roads will be rewarded with bonuses. At the end, the answer keys are placed on top, the goods obtained are confirmed and the points are received. After repeating this four times, the merchants with the most points are the winners.
