Hybris is a board game about worker placement, opportunities and development. For 2 - 4 players for a game session of about 120 minutes. A single player mode will be included during the Kickstarter campaign. The primodial gods have fallen. Hunted, captured and tortured by their children, Chronos and his fellow gods are but the remnants of an ancient world. The age of the Olympians has just begun. After ages of fighting, a new order is established. Zeus and his brothers and sisters have taken over the heavens and the mortal world. Now they try to organise themselves to share the remaining kingdoms and to know who will be the new ruler.
But the Olympians are not yet true gods, they have to evolve, to activate the spark that will turn them into a true god even if their current strength is colossal. Moreover, they must establish their domination in the mortal realm, and to do this, use the essence of their father: the Aegis. This energy comes directly from the Primordials themselves who are captured and chained in the underworld. With this energy, the Olympians can meet the expectations of the greatest cities of ancient Greece by deploying the most beautiful and promising technologies. Play as your god to build technologies, complete quests, fight heroes, upgrade your spark of divinity and win the game by unlocking all your divine upgrades or by victory points on the 6th age turn.
